Each private tutorial is tailored to suit the needs
and targets of the individual, be it for a specific
audition, exam piece, monologue, script
analysis, or presentation. The correct choice of
audition piece is key to successful auditioning.
For those applying to drama schools, you will
often be able to make your own choice of
audition speech. We'll choose the speech that is
right for you and that will help to showcase your
unique talent.
In a private tutorial we will work through the
piece together, exploring character motivation,
subtext, and the journey that your character
makes. Timing, rhythm and control will play an
integral part of the working process. We will
also explore the emotional content and
implement observational techniques that will
help your interpretation.
Working on your confidence will be a vital part
of the tuition process, as without self-belief, we
cannot achieve our highest potential. This is an
important part of the work I do with those who
wish to improve their presentation skills in the
